Hi, my name is Tiani! I am a Professional freelance Makeup Artist with over 8 years experience, covering Cornwall and the South West. Specialising in bridal artistry and makeup for all other occasions, my aim is to make you feel like the best version of yourself, creating a positive and unwavering experience that you'll remember.
This is more than a job, to me this is my dream and my passion. Makeup is powerful and transformative and I love being able to translate my art and creativity through it; creating looks for all ages, skin tones and tastes.

I wouldn't say i'm your traditional makeup artist...staying up to date with trends and new techniques is very important to me. I believe in 100% bespoke treatments so that my clients feel like they are in control; so whether you enjoy timeless natural beauty or something more full glam, I always deliver.

I love a good chat, sharing stories and indulging in some girly gossip. You'll often find me fuelled by caffeine (love a good caramel latte) and since becoming a mum, I couldn't live without it!

Equally, I love my brides to feel like the best versions of themselves! There isn't a better time to have fun with your girl squad so relax and enjoy the experience because how often do we allow ourselves a good pamper session?

My Journey
Having always had a passion for beauty, my love for makeup began way before my career started as an artist. Having a creative flair and a natural aptitude for art came naturally and through my teenage years I found makeup to be my therapy. I loved spending hours on end playing with colours, different styles and using unique techniques to enhance my natural features. It was my happy place and I knew that it was something i'd want to pursue as a career.
I qualified as a professional makeup artist in 2018 after completing 2 years of extensive training in Beauty Specialist Techniques and Makeup Artistry in college. After qualifying I continued to improve my skills and learn new techniques by training with at the PLouise Academy in 2019.

After working in beauty specialist roles and customer service for the better part of 6+ years, I wanted a new challenge and decided to take the risk and make makeup artistry my full time job! Turns out that risk was well worth it.
​
During the pandemic I started content creation on Instagram which helped me connect with brands all over the world. This gave me some incredible opportunities and had the chance to work with brands like Benefit, Morphe, ColourPop, Kat Von D, Look Fantastic, Beauty Bay, Unicorn Cosmetics and so many more!
​
My lightbulb moment truly came to me when I worked my first bridal booking after years of turning them away (the pressure scared me for too long!) and I instantly fell in love with the industry. My favourite energy quickly moved to weddings, I loved everything about them; the clients, the suppliers, the flowers..the dresses!! I felt like I was living in my own bridal dream surrounded by pure love and positivity.

The next challenge was to set out and build a wedding business and By. Tiani Maisie has been my passion project ever since! 4 years on (a global pandemic and a baby later) I am continuously evolving and strive to be bigger and better everyday.
